WORMWOOD MARMALADE

where parents, doctors, scientists follow the dots across silos and sleuth the answers together

Silo thinking has not solved the riddles of neurodivergence, autoimmune disease, chronic illness or cancer.

My own journey began with autoimmune disease and two neurodivergent children. Looking for answers led us down paths that crossed disciplines rarely placed in the same conversation.

We kept digging.

And slowly, a different possibility emerged: perhaps some of the answers cannot be found by isolating a single gene, molecule, microbe or pathway and hammering it until it fits. Perhaps we need to study the system in which those components behave.

That opened new lenses through which to look. Different connections. Different overlays. Sometimes, relationships and systems that had not previously been recognised.

Wormwood Marmalade is where we share the research, the riddles, the questions and the discoveries.

Because these problems are bigger than any one discipline.

Only by following the dots together can we begin to solve the riddles.
